Wins / Positives

  • Finished Gary Vee’s Jab Jab Right Hook. I really liked this book (as I do all Gary’s books).
  • I also finished the audiobook Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. This is an amazing book about a man who survived Nazi concentration camps
  • Had an excellent conversation with a friend who opened right up to me about his difficult family situation. I was told today that one of the issues is slightly resolved
  • I practiced the guitar alot and actually practiced in front of my mom and sister.
  • I am working on revamping my blog in hopes that I gain more traffic to my site.
  • Spent some time brainstorming and strategizing my future and what I really want to do and accomplish

Things that Didn’t Work

  • Frustrated at work…. (hope to change soon)

  • Work on my blog
  • Continue practicing the guitar

As a recent university graduate who worked so hard throughout my high school and university years, striving towards the end goal of landing a full-time job after graduation, I am starting to see that post-university life isn't all that people said it would be. I am constantly asking myself: Is this it? Is this all I worked towards? There has to be more than this than working for the next 30 years striving for what? Putting on various facades depending on the situation you're in, climbing the corporate ladder. I was fortunate enough to land a full-time job with the great perks of working in the heart of downtown Toronto with a stellar view of the waterfront. I write every weekday (excluding holidays) about the problems I see and face in hopes that it will help others shed some light on their issues and know they are not alone in their struggle and haze of a professional career
